My current system is relatively simple. I use a Logitech wireless keyboard to operate the computer and control volume using the DAC. 99% of my listening is downloads and rips of CDs, LPs, and tapes. I also use Qobuz to look for new music. Equipment: Mytek Brooklyn DAC+ Uptone Audio JS-2 linear power supply Musical Fidelity A5.5 integrated amplifier Bowers & Wilkens 803D speakers Microsoft Surface Pro 7 used as music server & streamer Sony BDP-S360 universal disc player JVC SR-H2902U Super-VHS videocassette recorder MIT AVt speaker cables Sony KD-KDL46XBR2 television And here it is in "button-down" mode, with the rack doors closed and speaker grills attached:

How do you rip your LPs?

I ripped the LPs by first trying to capture a good play on my turntable and then editing on the computer to separate individual tracks and remove any objectionable turntable rumble, cracks and pops, etc. It was quite a tedious process and for that reason I only used it on the rarest LPs that I though would never be re-released on newer media.

OK. I asked only because I didn't see a turntable in your current system.

Ah yes, I did the conversion of LPs and tapes to digital while I still had my turntable and tape decks, which turned out to be a very good thing because I lost all the original media (but not the digital files) in a disastrous house fire in 2006.
