Great Bit Parade Listening Sessions April 23
With Grover Washington, Jr."Winelight" DVD-A;
Update: May 15 Meeting And June 25 Vinyl Event
DCHFG members were impressed by our 5.1 channel Grover Washington Jr. "Winelight" album playback last Saturday, April 23 in Kensington. "Enveloping," one member said after the session playback. "So much depth and definition to each instrument. The stereo does not compare."The Grammy Award Winning Jazz-Funk album was heralded in its 1980 debut and, again, dazzled hi-res multichannel fans in 2001 when the 24 bit multichannel was released. Thanks again for everyone coming. Upcoming listening sessions: ELO - Eldorado (Vinyl Nights); Stravinsky - Firebird Suite (Bit Parade shootout) (Hi-Res).
April 23 raffle winners were: Mark Brown, Mike Rosansky and Mats Persson.
