I have a couple of pairs of NHT M6 speakers. One pair has been modified to accommodate the Aurum Cantus G2 ribbon tweeter. The cabinets aren't perfect, but could be refinished relatively easily. The crossovers in these have upgraded components, primarily polystyrene and poly-carbonate caps. The M6 sounds fantastic in stock form, these are better. I also have a pair of stock M6's.
For subs I have a pair of Sub 2i with two 12 inch drivers in each. The plate amps have been removed, I'm using a Crown XLS-1502 which does a fantastic job of powering these. The controller that comes with the subs works with the Crown amp with one resistor lifted from the circuit board. The plate amps in the subs were turned on by a DC voltage on the input signals.
I also have a pair of W2 single 12 inch subs with an X1 crossover and two A1 amplifiers.
As you may know, the T6, which is an M6 on a B6 was Stereophile A rated with a bass caveat - the 3dB down point was 27 Hz instead of 20. With the EQ built into the controller for the Sub 2i I regularly measured 20 Hz out of them.
In addition to the NHT speakers, I have a couple of Mirror Image Audio amps available that I can bundle with a pair of M6's or sell outright.
I'm happy to audition these in any combination.
