So, my mind has revolved around to more tweeks I can apply to my cherished Magnepan LRS speakers.
Today, I got some Ceramic FB 3 amp fuses for my LRS Tweeter. It may be expectation bias, but it does seem to improve the sound. More air there as they say. I also ordered some copper tube to potentially bypass the fuse altogether. I know this is potentially dangerous (blown tweeter), but curiosity will probably get the better of me.
I also ordered some parts for another cool mod that I will reveal. I may do a video in the new year to cover all this.
I know there are a few of you in the group that run Maggies. What are the mods you've tried and your results?

Magnerisers on my 3.7i's. They also come with jumpers to replace the ones Magnepan provides. Bass seems more solid and image wider and deeper after Magneriser installation. I attribute that mostly to the Magnerisers themselves. Considering getting Magnerisers for my 1.7i's.

When I rebuilt my Maggy 3.3a's years ago the fuse debate was rampant on AudioAsylum. My main helper on AA was a fellow named AndyR from Australia. He convinced me that the best fuse was no fuse, and I ran my Maggies for four years the last couple with 200 watt Hurricanes and would play very loud at times with never a problem. The Maggy 3.3a's had the ribbon tweeter which was considered delicate. Never had a problem.
