Funny, I was just thinking the other day that maybe it was time for an update to this now classic speaker? Voila, introducing the KEF LS50 "Meta". Same price ($1500) lots of new improvements. Russ, when do you anticipate shipping/delivery?

His review certainly wants one to go out and get this speaker yesterday.
I went back and watched reviews of the plain (now) old LS50 and they were just as glowing even recent reviews of a couple years ago.
So I will reserve judgement

I'm expecting to get my LS50 Meta demos by the end of the week. Please message me, or call me at 301-848-4100 if you'd like to set up an audition. I'm also taking orders now if you just want to purchase a pair. I'm not sure if you'll be able to read this following chart, but the price for the LS50 Metas is $1499 per pair. The price for the LS50W series II is $2499 per pair. The LS50W series II probably won't be available for another 30 days. I'll be sure to keep everyone posted. ![]()  |

I just received a tracking number today, so I'm hoping to have them on display by Thursday. I'd love to audition them with members of the group. Maybe we could set up 45 minute listening sessions with one person coming every hour. Everyone must wear a mask during the entire listening session. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks- Russ

I've had the LS50 Metas playing non stop for the last week, and have to say that they sound amazing. The main improvements I notice over the original LS50 is both improved bass dynamics, and separation. I will be receiving my LS50 wireless II demos on Monday, October 5th. Please message me or call me at 301-848-4100 if you'd like to set up an appointment to audition either one of KEF's new speakers.
