I have one each, both work great and are in excellent condition. They each come with a calibrated microphone that is used to calibrate your system to your room. The primary difference between the two is the HDP-4 has digital outputs for each of the frequency outputs so you can use external DACs, or just one if you're only using the DEQX for room correction. Note that these use IIR filters, less expensive brands use FIR filters which are not as good if you're looking for the best possible sound.
I'm looking for $2200 for the HDP-4 and $1100 for the PDC 2.6P. I'd be happy to come over and show you the basics on how to use these.
