I built this recently. Shelves (except for top which is solid walnut) are Richlite Supports are solid cherry I turned from a neighbor's tree that went down about four years ago Turning 20 spindles was tedious and very time-consuming. Ends were treaded with 3/8 by 16 tpi and then reinforces with CA glue and cut again. I used 3 inch pieces of 3/8 inch all-thread to hold it all together. Very stable. I am thinking of replacing the walnut top (because it has a light warp) with a thicker epoxy and cherry make up so I can put my Sota Nova TT on it instead of the lead balloon I have used since 1985

Very nice looking. Congratulations on the nice build. Is that a pair of Koss Pro4aa's I see?

Yes, those are Koss which I rebuilt a while ago with a $5 driver from Amazon and they sound like it is a $2 driver. It was just a proof of concept exercise. I am going to replace the cheapy driver with a Tymphany TC5FB00-06, which is a very similar driver in the Borealis
