I finally have all the acoustic treatments in the room. I have impulse response and ETC measurements before any treatments, with just the absorbers, with absorbers and diffusers, and finally including the bass traps. The improvement in sound quality is substantial. Micro details that used to get stepped on by early reflections are now clear. Transient response is better because of less overhang. Much of the "grunge" probably from early reflections causing IM distortion is gone. My wife was amazed at being able to localize the vocalists in a good recording. After listening to a well recorded piece she asked why all music wasn't recorded that way. We know the answer to that. Now I have to get the guy from DEQX to recalibrate my Express II to the new room. There are three things that stand out in my mind that over the years have improved the sound of my system. They are the room treatments, the DEQX processor, and the drivers I am using in the eggs, especially the SB Acoustics Satori beryllium tweeter. It is hard to stop listening to all kinds of music. I'm including photos.

Great pictures. Thanks for sharing.
I can certainly understand your comments about the beryllium tweeters. My new Revel M126Be speakers also have beryllium tweeters and they sound outstanding. Obviously they are different designs but I’m sure you are familiar with their pedigree?
