I have made my own cables using these components based on what I heard at Daves. They are very good. They are very precise and lean to the high side a bit.

I like silver conductor cables, do you have a set you would recommend for from phono preamp to preamp?

I suspect they seem to lean to the high side because they are so clean and clear with no grunge that you're just more aware of the mids and highs. I don't think these sound like silver cables, they are simply the purist way to get the signal from one component to another that I've heard. Not that I've heard that many, but at least for the price, I suspect they can not be beat. Feel free to try to prove me wrong.

The proof is in the ears. I care more about musically than precision and definition.

The proof is in the ears. I care more about musically than precision and definition. I agree, but you can have both. In my opinion it really depends on the recording. My personal preference is that the system does not affect the source material to make it "better". Yes, this relegates some stuff I like to the car to listen to, but that's OK with me. The recordings that are well done of performances that are exceptional is what makes the hobby so rewarding, at least for me. Great performances or great albums that aren't recorded all that well I listen to, but they're not playing when I sit down for the magic to happen.

I do not dispute! It comes down to how far ($$$$) you want to go for that very little bit of “extra” I will not go so far down the definition path that I lose musicality

Dave’s silver interconnects are very good. I made some awhile ago when I heard them at a Dave’s house during a meeting. They are a little difficult to build and Dave’s offer is a very good deal. I was just giving my personal opinion. My likes are towards the warm a lucious (I will admit “old fashioned “) side of things.

Dave made a five meter pair for my pre to monoblock runs. I like them. Replaced Audio Sensibility Ohno 6 nines copper.

Let me know if you're still interested.
