As much Hi-Fi equipment as I like to buy, I probably spend way more on music recordings. I have pretty catholic tastes but am not much of a Reggae, Hip-Hop, or Opera Fan. If I had to say, I am pretty much a modern Jazz fan with a Progressive Rock history. I also love Minimalism (e.g. Steve Reich, Philip Glass, Terry Reilly, etc.). I also love Folk and Acoustic music. Being an erstwhile guitarist, I adore fingerstyle guitar especially in the vein of Michael Hedges and Pierre Bensusan. My favorite Jazz label is ECM Records of Germany. I own a very large percentage of the label's vinyl releases. I also order pretty much every ECM release on Amazon. I use ECM records for testing my system and believe that the audio quality of all ECM records is always of Audiophile quality. If you want to checkout some of the music I buy, take a look at my Bandcamp page.

Some weirdness on Tidal and Apple Music with certain albums suddenly becoming unavailable has inspired me to pick up said albums on CD or via high-resolution downloads -- mostly alternative rock, indie music, film soundtracks, and jazz.

More into the classical/romantic composers than baroque. Mahler is probably my favorite but I can usually find something I like from most any composer. Very much lean toward listening to LPs or rips of LPs I've made.
